REALTY FUNDS GET EXTENSION - Many Real Estate Private Equity Funds who were supposed to exit investments in 2012 have got one year extension till March 2013, keeping in mind the current valuations which are not very attractive to make an exit. Under the contract signed between investors and such funds, there is always an option to extend investment by an year.

Piramal Group s real estate private equity arm, Indiareit is likely to exit two residential projects for around 200 crores. The projects are reportedly in Mumbai and Hyderabad and the company is likely to get an average return of around 16 percent.
