Faridabad is the most populated city in Haryana with a population of 14.04 lakhs while Gurgaon remains the second largest city at 8.76 lakhs. Rohtak takes the third position at 3.73 lakhs. If the norms for newly approved FDI in retail sector are seen in detail, one of the major condition for stores like Walmart etc to operate in a city would be a population of over a million. If that is followed as of now Faridabad remains the only qualifying city in Haryana.
